A REAL ALE PUB!!!

Our aim here is for you to enjoy a visit to our little local pub in a safe, friendly and clean environment and sample our many excellent hand pulled beers, lagers and fine malt whiskeys.

Years ago, the pub was famous for its local bitter, Massey’s, which is a traditional brew and has been a main seller in our pub since we reinstated it a few years back. Although it is no longer brewed in Burnley, the recipe is as close to the original as it can be.

Liverpool brewers “Cains” provide a pleasant alternative with their dark full flavoured traditional bitter. Weighing in at 4% abv it is a value for money beer.

Worthington Best Bitter at 3.6% abv is our session beer, and is a popular choice having stood the test of time since the removal of Bass Special Bitter from the market.

As well as our resident ales, we also have a number of guest ales on draught every week. Finally, Carling Lager, Carlsberg, Stella, Guinness, Woodpecker and Strongbow are all available on draught.

We only sell traditional established brands in our pub, as we believe in quality and value for money.
